North Carolina’s Best Book Sales

Are you a North Carolina resident trying to find a book sale ? Each week libraries across the state host media sales that sell media to raise funds for their library. The used books   normally come from donations and items removed out of circulation. These used book sale s represent an excellent opportunities to find outstanding bargains. Prices usually range from $1-3 for most used books . Below is a list of some of the larger sales in North Carolina:

Shepherd\’s Center of Greater Winston-Salem book sale

This sale is typically held in early spring. The book fair features over 100,000 books for sale! The sale accepts check and cash to purchase the books. The sale is held at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds in the Education Building.

Brevard AAUW yearly Used book fair

The annual sale is held in the Brevard College Campus. The sale features over 20,000 items for sale. This sale is usually held in June every year. It accepts cash and check as methods of payment. Books are sold at $2 a bag! This gives you a great chance ot pick up some cheap reads. All money that is raised helps women scholarships in the community. Bags are 1/2 price on the last day.

Friends of Haywood Library book sale

One of the biggest sales in North Carolina, this sale has over 50,000 items for sale. This sale is held at the Haywood Library in Waynesville, NC. This sale is oftentimes held in July of every year. The sale accepts only cash as method of payment.  This sale has over 90% of the books donated so there are many books available that are gift quality. The books are sorted nicely and there is something for everyone at this sale. The sale also features puzzles, audio books, cd\’s records, dvd’s and more! Please bring your own bags or boxes to this sale.
