Matt Hamilton, from Near Coast Media, lately shared an expertise with his intelligent phone while out on a Friday night. He talks about his mobile expertise with his intelligent phone, looking for a restaurant, and the results he got when using a mobile telephone to find a restaurant. And the way companies could make their web site attractive to mobile users.

Nearby businesses have to be extremely aware that it’s not just a website that they should function on to become attractive. Companies also have to make sure that their website is attractive to smart telephone users, particularly if the company is one thing like a restaurant, night club, or other company that might attract mobile customers.

There are several ways to make your company attractive to mobile users, and it’s not extremely tough. There are lots of choices, from services to plugins for WordPress as well as other kinds of website add-ons which will change your website and make it readable by these utilizing a mobile telephone.

So, you don’t necessarily have to invest a great deal of money re-doing your website. But you do need to be conscious that your web site should be attractive to mobile users.

There are some videos making their way around the internet correct now which are pretty hilarious. So humorous, in fact, that they’re being shared around, even by social media pros. Well, these movies are funny because they’re very real. The whole idea behind the movies are that they details the reality, and what somebody says that you’ve in typical.

Standing Dog’s social media team recently got in on it, and posted their video, as shown above, called Sh*t Social Media Pros Say. If you are in the social media marketing industry, or you interact with social media professionals on a regular basis, then you may be interested in seeing this video that particulars what those in the social media industry say on a regular basis. <!--more->

If you think about it, just about in every industry out there, you will find sayings or common quotes that those people tend to say, over and over and over again. And when you point those quotes or those sayings out to people in the industry, for some reason it really does strike a chord with someone. Especially those in that industry or those who see themselves becoming made fun of.

It all started a while back with something called “stuff my dad says”, and then there was “stuff girls say” and then there was a video done recently about stuff project managers say. There certainly could be a lot of other videos done, and here are a few that I would like to see. And oh, by the way, it’s not “stuff”, it’s a particular other nasty S word that is a swear that I would rather not repeat.

Stuff My Mom Says
Stuff My Kids Say
Stuff My Grandma Says
Stuff My Grandpa Says
Stuff Domainers Say
Stuff SEOs Say
Stuff My Boss Says
Stuff Secretaries Say
Stuff Politicians Say
Stuff Doctors Say
Stuff Lawyers Say

That’s just a few of them, I am sure if you are in a certain industry, you could come up with a whole list of stuff that someone says. And certainly, I am sure that it would be humorous, too.

Owen Frager, the Chief Innovation Officer from the Frager Creative Group, 1 of the nation’s first virtual marketing communications companies serving Fortune 500 brands, has lately written an interesting article concerning the 7 stage recipe for marketing good results. In it, he describes how there is a lot more to interactive electronic marketing than eye-catching banner ads, low cost packages, and intelligent domain names.

According to Owen Frager, “Marketing gives character and differentiates for benefit. Marketing produces relationships with clients that go deeper than anything you sell or make. And of course, social marketing facilitates those relationships and drives word of mouth.”

Mr. Owen Frager says that “2012 is the year to get noticed in a me-too online world.”

I am paraphrasing here, but as I recall, here’s Owen Frager’s 7 stage recipe for marketing good results in the twenty-first century:
1. People do not purchase manufacturers. They join brands.
two. What is presently related is constantly changing.
three. You can market to one and all.
4. You are able to change to be what your clients require.
5. Connecting people to each other connects them to you.
six. Cash may be made without promoting anything.
seven. Digital is how it all happens.
a. Cross-promotion that shares costs and extends budgets.
b. Redirection of advertising bucks to collaborative efforts that increase consciousness and revenue.
c. Suggestions as themes, goods, promotional autos, and monetized resources.

In accordance to Owen Frager, “remember, the brand new design is collaboration, not competition.” Marketing in the 21st Century isn’t necessarily all about competitors, it’s more about collaboration, as well as social networking marketing around the web these days is about collaborating together with your customers and possible clients, rather than always about your competitors.

Marketing provides character and differentiates for benefit. Marketing produces relationships with customers that go deeper than anything you sell or make. And of course, social marketing, yet to be mastered by most, facilitates those relationships and drives phrase of mouth.

To fully understand why internet streaming videos are the next step in online marketing, you need to be able to grasp the objective of advertisers and the effects of the different methods of advertising.

Online advertising began mainly with newsletters in the form of emails or pop-up screens containing pure text and some inanimate pictures. As internet users became more and more accustomed to surfing the web these newsletters and pop-up advertisements gradually turned into annoyances. Marketing newsletters started to look like junk mail and pop-up screens became similar to billboard advertisements that you see every day. Also, pop-up screens disturbs the rhythm of internet surfing. There you are browsing away when you see a link or article which you decide to follow or read. Just as you are about to click on it or just as you are in the middle of reading it, the pop-up appears and displaces your current browser window behind it.

In short, these common forms of advertising soon became major annoyances in most cases that anti-virus software developers soon added anti pop-up features in their products thereby drastically reducing the number of consumers that these pop-ups were able to reach. To add emphasis to the drive against pop-up advertising windows, Mozilla developed a built-in anti-pop up utility into their web browser, Firefox. Just as the pop-window is about to open, Firefox immediately denies the opening of this new browser window. Today, you rarely see pop-up screens on your computer as you browse the web.

This is where streaming video comes in. It is undisputed that television commercials are still the best way to attract attention. The advertiser needs to make the product look good in TV, but their primary objective is to attract the consumer’s attention. Their second goal is to make the video memorable enough so that the customer remembers the brand name when they have need of the product.

The main advantage of videos is their ability to instill curiosity in a person. The strength of internet marketing through streaming videos is that it immediately grabs the attention of the viewer. The only thing that you as an advertiser have to do is to make the video interesting enough that it maintains or improves on that initial level of interest.

With the use of videos, the consumer gets a clear picture of what your product or idea is all about. This is an added bonus to the attention grabbing feature of using videos for your marketing or advertising campaigns. When a consumer knows what you and your product are all about, they can begin to trust you. A trusting customer is one who will patronize all your product lines.

Video is the future of the internet. Nothing gets more attention and more traffic. Nothing else can go viral as quickly. Practically nothing else can keep your visitors on your site for longer.

Without a doubt using streaming video will:

•	Video on your site WILL increase time-on-page.

•	Video on your site WILL generate useful feedback and comments.

•	Video on your site WILL capture more opt-ins.

•	Video on your site WILL convert more visitors into PAYING customers.

The big names like MySpace, YouTube, Facebook and the rest are not only dominating news stories now and people’s minds they are starting to play a really big part in driving traffic to marketer’s pages online. By using video streaming on these social marketing sites will bring a lot of highly targeted traffic to your site.

Remember, that when you want to sell an idea or product, the best way to grab a person’s attention is by arousing his curiosity through the use of videos. Video is the fastest and most efficient tool when it comes to getting your message across. Human beings are very curious animals and they love good stories. However, as good as your advertising video is, it is still the quality of your product that matters in the end.
