Campground Reviews

Writing a a RV park review you are sharing your thoughts and experiences with other potential travelers. Your RV park reviews need to be fun but informational and when possible try to include the following information:

  1. Date of Visit – State the year and month of your trip.
  2. Nightly Rate – Round this off to the nearest dollar.
  3. Any Discounts Accepted – If you used any or noticed any discount cards, coupons or specials or time of the year when the cost is less expensive be sure to include this in your RV park review.
  4. Friendliness of all Associated with the Establishment – Include any contact with staff, owners and employees that stand out.
  5. Amenities – Was there a swimming pool, arcade, lake?
  6. Tidiness of Property – Was there clutter or organization?
  7. Anything else that Stood Out – Anything you may have noted that was interesting to share with others.

The RV park reviews will assist other vacationers and by using these guidelines you will cultivate a reputation of a reviewer that others can depend on for an useful reviews.

  1. Provide detail. Details can make a RV park review, don‘t just list facts. Provide helpful details that’s not subjective. One-sided assessments and likings differ from one traveler to another, you will want to detail why you feel the way you do about the campground. Tell us why your thoughts is what it is, keep it clear, well thought-out, and concise.
  2. Be constructive when explaining your experience. Even if it was your worse experience, unnecessary criticism is not necessary to get your point across. Tell your experience in a way that the viewers will comprehend why your experience was the way it was
  3. It’s not always easy to be objective. Even a property that disappointed you can have things positive, try to recognize the pros and cons. Your personal encounter will weigh in on your assessment but try not to allow it to sugar-coat your review.
  4. Write with other travelers in mind. Consider what a another visitor would want to know about the campground if they were considering visiting.
  5. Put yourself in the review. Tell us where you’re coming from. Viewers want to understand if you are a seasoned a the park or if this was your first stay.
  6. Check your spelling and grammar. That includes using periods at the end of sentences. Never write in all capital letters.
  7. Post your pictures. Pictures are a great way to share yoru experience. Parks will only share their best photos but we as visitors can post their downsides if we find any.
  8. Update your campground review. Even if nothing changed from your first review…the viewer is unaware that you continue returning to the same place over and over unless you write a review for each stay.
I have never really thought of myself as a media guru up until now. People keep on asking me questions about how to get themselves in front of the media. I am not sure about that, but I sure do know how to get your business in front of the media.
